A popular day trip adventure is a day on Angel Island. Our 32 foot Grand Banks Charter Boats are perfect for a family or small group adventures. These boats will accomodate up to 6 passengers.

Grandbanks Charters, as most of our charters come with a captain. We do not bareboat charter, or let people captain the Grandbanks on their own. Our Captains are all well graced at either giving you privacy or participating with you.

An Angel Island Day Trip might include a tour of the Bay or just a straight destination for Angel Island. The pictures illustrate that even just anchoring the boat for a picnic and an afternoon in Ayala Cove is wonderful.

Angel Island is a nice place to hike, barbeque, or set up a game of volleyball, badmitton or croquet. There are extensive trails, historic sites, superb views and a musuem. From the top of Angel Island there is a 360 degree view of the bay area including the golden gate bridge, the bay bridge, the richmond bridge,the city skyline and Mount Tamalpais. The hike around the circumference of Angel Island is about 2 hours. Please visit our Angel Island and return on the Angel Island Ferry. Our GrandBanks are available by the hour with a three hour minimum.
