The Sausalito waterfront is fun and beautiful to explore from a boat. There are several
restaurants with guest docks. Horizons is right on the Sausalito Waterfront and has a dock for lunch or dinner. Sam's a bit further on the Tiburon
Waterfront also has a dock for lunch or dinner.
Stay in the channel on your way out the Richardson Bay and observe the 5 mile per Hour speed limit. The channel
is marked with green and red markers. We will show them to you on a chart before you take your adventure.
Once outside Richardson Bay Channel (beyond the Spinnaker Restaurant, be sure to wave to the folks as you go by!)
you can hook it up and have fun.
Friday nights in the summer, Sausalito has music at the waterfront park on the other side of the Spinnikar Restaurant and before the Sausalito Yacht Club.

Sausalito Library Centennial Fund
THIS IS TAKEN FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE SAUSALITO LIBRARY WEB SITE:
"With the current fiscal crisis in California, Sausalito's General Fund for all city services has been reduced. The Library budget has been cut drastically.
The Library Trustees and a community task force have established the Sausalito Library Centennial Fund to maintain the Sausalito Library at its current standard for:
- Staff
- Operating hours
- Library services
- Acquisitions
To learn more about the Centennial Fund, pick up a brochure and pledge form in the Library or the Friends' book store or phone 415-331-3352
Donated books are always needed. Bring them in during book sale hours, leave them in the barrel just inside the Library door, or call us and arrange to have them picked up. Donations are fully tax deductible."
Please help support the Sausalito Library! Visit their website for more info: www.ci.sausalito.ca.us/library/friends
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
Book bargains galore are available every Saturday and Wednesday at the on-going sales of the Friends of the Sausalito Library.
Proceeds from the book sales help provide special books and equipment for the Library, as well as summer programs for children, which would not be funded otherwise.
Using only your donations, the Friends have contributed nearly $25,000 for 2004-2005 to the Sausalito Library in addition to $15,000 to enable the Sausalito Library to open on Sundays; one of only 4 libraries in Marin County maintaining Sunday hours.
