sf bay adventures - tall ships
SFbayimages.com, photographs of the tall ships, tall ship festival activities and the tall ship parade from 2002. The day of the Tall ship parade the wind was gusting at about 40 miles per hour on the bay and unfortunately many of the Tall ships had to sail with just a few sails up. The next official tall ship festival will be in 2005. Sail San Francisco is currently enrolling tall ships for the tall ship festival and parade. "Our triennial event featuring tall ships and training ships from around the world is scheduled for July, 2005. This event will be expanding to include working vessels as well as a Global Diversity Forum and multi-cultural music, dance and art expositions." If you want to know more on the tall ships July 28-31, 2005, visit Sail San Francisco www.sailsanfrancisco.org The photo above is an aerial photograph of San Franisco Bay's Tall ship "The Bay Lady".
